Wheel Damage

Sorry this is off topic.
I have bent one of the spokes in my rim rendering useless. What would the affects on rest of the spokes and the overall rim?

As with most things on bikes, it should be fixed asap. The rest of the spokes are taking a greater - and uneven - load and will fail sooner.

It won't fail immediately, so no panic, you could even ride off-road for a bit - but you ARE stressing everything if you do.

Spokes are dirt cheap, and easy to replace.

In case of more then one spoke: replace them one by one!!! Don't take some out in a row trying to put others in place. Then it is easy to replace spokes. Otherwise it is a real challenge for if you have no experience.
