DL650/1000 Tank Sizes

Hi everyone

I'm looking to buy a tankbag with side panniers and have found a Touratech that will do (Touratech UK Webshop). It says that it is only for a DL1000, is there any reason why these will not fit my DL650?

Thanks

Christopher

I think both tanks are the same 22ltrs.
Have a look at Motorcycle Tank Bags, Luggage, Panniers, Tail Bags, Seat Bags, Enduro Bags, for Aprilia, Benelli, BMW, Buell, Cagiva, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki, Moto Guzzi, MV Agusta, Suzuki, Triumph, Yamaha, Off Road, Enduro motorcycles Famsa tank bag and tank panniers.
I don't know how tall you are but It's worth checking how high the tank bag sits.
I have just bought a Quick Lock Engage XL 15 ltrs and I am 5ft 8in and can just see over the top at all instruments.
Cheers
Ian

Thanks for that Ian,

I also emailed Touratech and they have said there is a different line coming out for the DL650 (not sure if that is just a standard reply) but they say they are going to be showing a kitted out DL650 at the motorbike show at the end of the month in Birmingham. (http://www.motorcycleshow.co.uk/) Managed to convince my girlfriend that it might be a good idea to go down so I am hoping to get a proper idea there and see exactly what they have to offer otherwise I will start looking around.

Hi Chris,
Lucky you going to the bike show, nothing like that in Saudi and I won't be home on leave until March.
If Touratech have them for sale at the show I would get them there as reports about their delivery system have not been good.
Cheers
Ian
