Any one in windhoek that comedown from west africa or heading up?
just in windhoek for 10day and would be keen to catch up for a  and some share information

Just heard from West Af:
"... now in Togo and our plans to head to Cape Town are pretty much over... [bike probs]. On top of that we have heard the Congo has closed its borders given the situation at present. We have met another Brit couple who are two up on a 1200GS heading to Cape Town, though they too have reconsidered and are now planning on shipping from Ghana to SA." Not sure what 'the situation' is other than the usual one down there. It may be something to investigate or it could all be nothing much. Later. thanks Scott
this is why I want to here first hand what its like up there at the moment. I tired for DRC visa a couple of years ago with no luck, I don't think I can be bothered with all this hassle , might just do the east coast.
