vehicle stamped in passport? (Cameroon)

hi,
anyone know if your car/bike is stamped in your pass when entering Cameroon? thanks!

I took a Landcruiser in through Banki last Feb and it was not put into my passport. I was asked by a tout if I wanted insurance but I replied that I already had some (which I didn't) and nothing more was said.

It won't be if you use a carnet, but on a local laissez passer it might be - we went the laissez passer route in Mauritania by accident and the bike's details were written into our passports...

I have been to Cameroon 3 seperate times, once with a carnet and twice without and never have they written any details in our passport.
