Mauri visa update
Monday morning March 7. I aplied for visa and got it next afternoon late. No problems at all.
A mauritanian guy "helped" and took us to a hotel in city center, and gaurded parking. U just ask for him when waiting in the line. The costs for 1 night stay in a single room incl. breakfast 230 Maroccan dirhams = aproximately 22 euro´s, and parking for 28 hours 144 Mdh. Crossing the border from Maroc to Mauri took in total around 3h. The border opened around 9 and a long que where waiting from early morning. We finaly entered Mauri at 2pm. Diesel in Northen Maroc is 7,35Mdh and in southern (West Sahara) is 5,20Mdh. Fuel is no problem, just have fuel for at not less than 150 km driving. Lover, refuel first possebil chance. Diesel in Mauri is dobbel price of north the border. I was bringeng 65 liters extra in cans, no problem. Maroccan police has been no problem. My total bribing for all way through was 5  s!!!! Mauri police is only asking for the "fiche" with your passport info and car info. After handing it to them they wish you "bon voyage" and you can go on. Bring at least 25 copies. Safe journey. Jacob
