Camping Possible in Bissau?
Hi,
I've found lots of posts on hotels in Bissau around the 15000cfa mark, but I was wondering if anybody knows a hotel which might have room for camping? Long shot I know, but even if it is just a patch of grass or dirt that would be fine. Thanks in advance.

Hi Dave (again!),
I stayed in Residencial Coimbra around 20Feb2011. Very nice, hot shower and free wi-fi! No place to camp there though but it had closed park (kind of). Let me check later on my LP West Africa guide and also comment with friends who've been there more than one time if there is such camping available. BR, Luís Cabrita

|
There used to be a German guy called Andreas, locally known as Andre di Cabana who had a large property where you could camp. When you left the airport he was on the right after about 1km opposite a petrol station. He used to have an ice factory and a tyre repair place on the same site. No idea if he is still there.
