We've had a code update on the HUBB that should fix any issues with the new right hand column. If the HUBB still "looks funny" please force a refresh to get the latest code update. (Hold down the shift OR ctrl key, and click the refresh button on your browser, OR Ctrl R, OR on Macs, Command R). If you still have a problem please post it here.

anti malarials in SA
i'm going to be touring central and south america, and obviously will need antimalarials.
have settled on doxy with malarone "curative". my (knowledgable) travel clinic nurse says she has heard of some problems getting anti-malarials through road borders "if they are not what the locals use..." Looked all over and can find no reference on the HUBB - so.... is it bullsh1t? any reason why i shouldn't cheerfully ignore her and carry on regardless? (in my usual fashion...) (seperate question, not researched... how many should i take? 3 months, 6 months? plan to be on the road in malarial zones for up to a year? where's cheapest to buy them?) thanks in advance dan |

Yup, its bullshit. I've had no hassles at all with taking my medical kit across borders in S.America. They've never even looked in the panniers once.
