China to Laos or Thailand
Hi everyone,
Does anyone know of the border near the Banna Region of Yunnan China, where u can take a boat ride into Laos or Thailand. There is a border from Mohan into Laos (which is an official international border) but i hear theres another too, taking a boat down the river.Has anyone heard of this? Am now in Jinhong in Yunnan and hoping to cross into Laos or Thailand in a few days. Thanks in advance. Cheers Dalbir |

Dalbir,
Sorry, but I can't give you any advice on your current dilemma. But I do ask that you keep us posted how and where you get across the border. I'm intending to cross the China/Vietnam/Laos border regions in 2007. Good luck. Baswacky |
