best way india to thailand
is there anyone who know the best way from
india to thailand or laos whit motorcycle.. drive thru burma or by boat freight to singapore.. this is my biggest problem.. and if it is possible to drive thru vietnam and laos.. hope for god ideas.. thanks... ------------------ [This message has been edited by conny (edited 26 November 2002).]

Hi Conny,
we are in Thailand at the moment. Most bikers fly their bikes from Nepal (Kathmandu) or India (eg. New Delhi) to Bangkok. See the posts on this and the "shipping page" here. Crossing with bike through Burma (or China) is impossible (or very expensive and time consuming in China). Laos is no problem overland from Thailand. Vietnam is officially not possible with a (big) bike but in the past several travellers have entered via highway 8 (Laos). But since April every attempt (i know of) to croos even here has failed.
