motorcycle guide book for pan american?
Does anyone know of a guide book for cars or Motorcycles pertaining to Mexico, C.America, or S.America?
I have a few guide books but they don't have much info for motorist. I'm leaving on June 12, (next week) so a quick response would be greatly apperciated. Thanks in advance, |

Hi Jimmy,
I mostly use the Footprint Guides, they have similar info as the Lonely Planet series, but extra info about shipping, borders, mechanics and bike friendly accomodation. Happy travels..... Sian.. |

I agree with Sian on the choice of guide book. I found the Footprint books to be very useful. The LP had slightly better street maps, but were generally far inferior to Footprint.
Good Luck, CB
