Lake Titicaca northern border crossing

Hello,
has anyone crossed from Peru to Bolivia via the northern route over lake titicaca?

I understand that you need to do immigration in Puno prior to leaving Peru, and the you get your entry stamp into Bolivia at Immigration in La Paz.

But i dont know about the customs clearance at each end? Where do you do this leaving Peru, and again in Bolivia?

If anyone has addresses for the relevant offices, or GPS points that would be really helpful!

Thanks in advance,

Dean,
