Ferry cost with cabin and Motorcycle? Lapaz to Mazatlan
Just wondering if any body has taken the Ferry from Lapaz to Mazatlan lately. What was the cost with your bike? and how much with a cabin. It's been quite a few years ago since I have done this trip and all the pricing I'm finding is out dated.
Thanks for any info. JV |

As Promised
Hi,
I crossed from La Paz to Topolombo on wednesday 13th Sep. The ferry cost me 680 pesos for me, and approx 580 pesos for my motorcycle, Total bill was 1260 pesos. I parked on deck 2 where directed, you skip all the trucks and join the ferry with the cars. Deck 2 was almost the last dock to get off. Ferry crossing is about 5 hours. Your ticket includes a meal onboard, they announce when the restaurant is open and food doesnt last long so get in quick. Ferry leaves daily at 3pm, make sure your motorcycle has permission for mexico mainland cos motorcycle permission office closes at 1 30pm. On arrival, get out of Topo cos almost no accomodation, apprently one hotel but no idea where. Suspose to be lot more hotels in Los Mochis, we stayed in a sex motel 15km out of Los Mochis. Food is to be had late in Mochis but get there as soon as possible, they closed up after we left. hOPE ALL this helps ride safe Paul |
