Cordoba mechanic?

Hello folks!
Any suggestion of a decent mechanic in Cordoba? We will be riding around there after some days spent in Atacama. We have 3 BMW (2 GS 1150; 1 GS 1200) and we intend to have a revision in the bikes before the final trip branch to Sao Paulo.
Cheers,
SF

Recently had some stuff done to my KLR in Cordoba. Think the name was MotoServicio, and it's where all moto related shops are. Don't recall street names but anybody will direct you. Suerte--Porter

Hello, I had some work done to my f650 at the BMW shop there. The mechanic area is at a different location, and was not able to see the area. I forgot the reciept on the counter when I left and after 4 phone calls, and 4 emails to both the shop and the mechanic, I still do not have the receipt. I think I was overcharged, and they did work that I did not want done to the motorcycle. I cannot recommend them, unless you receive all prices in advance.
Good luck,
Rene

Ricardo Quilez is a very good mechanic - BMW trained in Germany. He repaired a faulty fuel pump on my F650 last March - all done under warranty (see story on www.panamericanadventure.com). His phone number is 4883882-0351.

Its a funny set up as he sort of does contract work for BMW and doesn't seem to work in the shop all the time. Hope this helps!
