Buenos Aires to Europe - shipping
Hullo,
Thinking of shipping me bike between the above locations. Not seen much activity on the shipments bit for this route recently. Anyone done this recently (looking for quotes, recommendations and the like pleasy). Quite keen to ship it to a port in spain, on the notion that I "have to" (sigh) go all the way from the UK to pick it up and (sigh) have to ride it back .... what a chore...(more sighs). Cheers, Brian

Hi Brain,
I shipped from BA to Tilbury with Hellmann shipping the BA office was a pleasure to deal with, but Hellmann in England where a bloody nightmare they have no manners and ended up costing me £635 just to get my bike released from customs and to have it delivered to Ireland, I was dealing with a young man call Marc Eastmann at the UK end who had no knowledge of any questions I asked him and his manager had the same level of customer care, I am at the moment taking legal action against the company for poor service. |

Thanks for the heads up celt. I`ll be sure to avoid the swines. I`m having a similar problem with Girag - they delayed my bike from Panama City to Quito. They have promised over half the cost refunded, 3 weeks past this, they still have not refunded me.
Big email storm going there way soon. Cheers, Brian colesyboy.tripod.com
