Accomodation with Parking in Buenos Aires

Hi
I am in Buenos Aires right now and will collect my bike from the port soon. Any advice on places to stay that have secure parking as I need to spend a bit of time loading up the bike and fitting things I didnt do in the UK.

In a city centre hostel now, and can{t find parking for motos

thanks all

Dave

Hi Dave
I’m from the Buenos Aires HU Community. Welcome!!! Finding a center hostel whit parking for motos is very hard. I can recommend a cheap hotel in the north surroundings of the capital no so far from the downtown. Too many Travellers stay there. It’s very close to my moto-shop and my house. Also we can invite you to dinner or something any day.
Call me when you want!!!

I know this is an old thread, but can someone recommend a cheap but decent hostel in Bs. Aires with motorcycle parking? There will be two motos.
Thanks,
Dave

Gecko hostel in Palermo will let you store the bike in their corridor. Safe enough. Accommodation is not the greatest though. The other option is javier and Sandra at Dakar motos.

Also check out Kilca Hostel. Parking is in the courtyard, safe and secure + free wi-fi & conti. breakfast. There were 5 bikes when we stayed around this time last year. The owner rides as well and is extremely helpful.

Hostels web service

There is a South American Hostel website that is worth bookmarking Hostels | Cheap Hotels | Youth Hostels - MiniHostels.com and a hotel site Hotels in South America | PACARAMA.COM When I was down there I would book a day or two ahead and put the address into the GPS. Both worked out Ok in all cases. Dave

@BlackBeast
Thanks for the recommendation.... really biker friendly hostel. There are 7 of us here now and the owner even is going to let me keep (for a small charge) my bike here for a little bit while I take a side trip for a month.

I was in BsAs for 1 month (2 weeks of which was learning Spanish).
I rented an apartment (bedsit) with secure parking in Palermo - very cool area.

It worked out at about £30 per night. You have to pay security deposit (which you get back at the end of lease) and it is all cash.

Try Ayelen at Friendly rentals they were excellent.
