Next, I'm interested to kwow if the atlantic route can be done without guide and no gps. I've been reading "Sahara overland" yet it seems to me that this route has so much traffic going through that it would be hard to get lost. Wrong idea?

Unfortunately, the panel have also decided that your Tanzanian story be discarded - something to do with Tanzania not being in the Sahara???!!! Sorry!

Yes, Chairman, Sir, it is True, there are so few bad stories to find on/in the Sahara. Therefore, Dear panel Director, I would like to have dispensation from this topic as a senior-researcher for at least 2 mounts, after that period, I will dig myself into the sandy-stories again, [If I can find them] I hope that the Chairman understands that my first priority now is to prepare the Landy for serious work, to start with: the roof is leaking again on the left/front side, but that problem only counts for the first 2000km. But that topic of course, belongs in the 4x4 box..I know.
