security issue
hi travelers,
´My plan is to leavy Gambia by atlantic road in two weeks with a single car. My plan is also to take a girlfriend - so, any recomedations and advices about security on that road? From that forum i can see the road is quiet busy at that period, and some people are driving "alone" also. General question is if not so risky to take a woman for such kind of trip? i'm less and less sure.... so - help pls greetings (and see you on the road) |

what????? alternatively, I think your fine. Women have surprisingly been known to go along this route. In fact lots and lots of people, men, women, children, solo travellers, etc go up and down this route. Nice route to do, just get out there and enjoy it.

IMHO Your girlfriend would do well to dress modestly (avoid shorts or vest tops) so as not to attract too much attention.
I'm sure you'll be fine though. |
