Overland - Chad to Khartoum?
Later in the year we are intending to travel overland from Chad to Khartoum and would like to receive first hand information on conditions on the road from Abeche to Khartoum. We have read the news articles on the site and would appreciate reliable advice on:
Banditry in Western Darfur Availability of Sudanese visas in Chad Whether the border at Abeche is open to travellers Estimated time to travel from the border to Khartoum by 4WD. Thanks, Saharan Traveller
