Name of the border crossing in Ceuta

Hello, everybody!

I'm going to visit Morocco this winter by car and in the application form for Moroccan visa I need to indicate the "point of the first crossing of the border" or "Frontiere de premiere entree" (in French as in the application form). I'm going to enter Morocco from Ceuta, but Ceuta is spanish town, so there must be the Moroccan name this border crossing. I've found one: "Tarajal", but I don't know is it correct or no.

Can anybody help me with this information?

Fnideq, I believe, but they will understand Ceuta..

You could try Sebta - that's what the moroccans refer to Ceuta as.

Sebta is indeed the Moroccan for Ceuta, and is also on the stamp when you enter the country.

When asked where you entered Morocco it's always best to say Sebta to avoid possible sensitive matters - although the police and gendarmerie are extremely polite, and in the northern part of the country you are hardly ever stopped by the police, in the south on the way to Mauritania you are always stopped by the police but always in an extremely polite way - think they understand the value of tourism...

Just about to finish the moroccan leg of my africa-trip, and will post here some good addresses and GPS-coordinates for biker-friendly places somewhere next couple of days - weather- and time-permitting...
