Morocco via Ceuta - green card Question

I am travelling with 2 other 4x4's to Morocco this Christmas. One of our party was not able to get a green card to cover him for Morocco. We were told by the Moroccan tourist board that the only place to get insurance was Tangier and it would be around 150 UKP. We want to enter via Ceuta and are hopeing that we can get insurance / green cards on the border. I can only find old posts on the subject and as the tourist board told us a few weeks ago I was hoping someone can confirm we should be ok.

Many Thanks,

Mark.

I paid for car insurance at the Moroccan border, on the way out of Ceuta, this October. Exactly as described in Sahara Overland, aside from the cost having risen about 10% since the book was published

The same still held true for us at the start of December when crossing Ceuta-Morocco

Don't know if it's too late for you, but Dave and I crossed the border there a week ago and he paid 50 quid to insure his xt (price in amh)
