Morocco in Summer
I am planning a bike trip to Morocco next year and the dates seem to be settling on the last week in August first week in September. I have been reading some sobering stuff in Chris Scott's "Sahara" and on the site here about needs for water in the Sahara at this time of year. Does this advice apply equally to Morocco?
I would welcome any advice on travelling at this time of year and any feedback from those that have already got the T-shirt. I have travelled in the Australian outback in January but that was by car and a long time ago, so I thought it best to ask.
PS The plan is stick to pistes in the southeast ie: as close to the desert as we can manage and then if time permits over the mountains into the coastal belt.
