Algiers - Tam - Cairo
My friends and I were considering traveling from Algiers through Libya into Cairo. Ideally, we wanted to see the Hoggar Mountains in Southern Algiers and do the loop from Tam to Djanet. However, there are rumors that this border is closed. What is the best way to get from Algiers to Cairo via Libya? If we have to skip the Hoggar Mtns, we will reluctantly do so.
