Across the Dunes
From Tunis to Mali
I plan to tramp down from Tunesia to Niger and further on to Mali and Senegal ? First the ferry matter: Genova -Tunis: When -where- how much ? the visa matter : Is there no way of getting a one for all visa ? Can I get a visa for Mali in Niamey ? How much is it ? And what about this invitation matter for a visa to Algeria ? Is thhat serious ? Questions , questions ,... Johann, Austria

Each country operates independently.
For British people going to Algeria, the letter of invitation is very serious. I am due to go in 2 weeks and my application has stalled because the friend that invited me comes from the north which is less secure than the south. Elsewhere on this site, you will find comments that its easier in Belgium and Austria. Good luck. Richard
