Short tour this summer before a longer one
I've just ordered a Triumph Tiger 800 XC and will be riding to Italy this summer 2 up with my wife. We have about 10 days for the trip and wondered whether anyone on here has some advice as to an area of Italy to visit and places to stop on the way. I'm guessing that we'll only have time to get to the Tuscany area but would like to visit the coast.
I did ride to the Dolomites last year but the traffic was horrendous due to a lot of car rallies in August so we'll probably not stop there again. If anyone has some great places in mind that they'd like to share with me I'd appreciate it. Next year (hopefully) we plan to ride to India through Turkey, Iran and Pakistan. Thanks

If you want to know the score as far as riding to India is concered you should go to the HU rally in Ripley this June, everything you will need to know to go anywhere, in one place.
That plug ought to be worth a  Glynn!
