be sure not to miss the KKH! By the time you get there it is probably more finished than it is now, and it is all ready a gem! Pakistan is lovely, please do not rush!

Hi Overlandaries,
I'm new to the HUBB (been reading it for years though). I'm also interested in the situation in Balochistan, do you have any new information on this?

Stofffl, I'm living in Vienna as well and I'm planning a similar trip. Would you like to meet over coffee or to share some infos? pm me if you're interested (I'm not allowed to pm you so far)

cheers!

Hello there both Atta and Stofffi.
I am at the moment in the Border of Azerbaijan and I am heading to Iran since I was only issued a 5 day transit visa .Till this moment only info I have have is from here a fellow traveller just cross it without any problems. The other option is to ship the vehicle to India from Dubai but that will be an extra 1600 euro added to my budget.Still trying to decide if I should take the risk. As far as I have research the passage is done from 100 travellers yearly and there is a small percentage that does get in trouble one way or another.
I am looking for other overlanders to join the crossing.

Hi Overlandiaries,

where are you now? Did you choose to cross Balochistan? I am curious to hear about your experience, I hope everything went well!
Cheers, Atta

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
