Northeastern Turkish mountain trip in June? What route to take?

Northeastern Turkish mountain trip in June? What route to take?

I am planning a 2-3 week trip to Northeastern Turkey. I am entering (from Iran) either by bus, or train (whatever works better). I am leaving Tabriz in the first week of June for a Turkish destination, probably Van (but I am open to other arrival destinations in Turkey). I am looking to explore mountains in the late Turkish Spring, especially Ararat, and the mountains near the Black sea, including Trabazon city. By the end of June, I have to cross the Georgian border, where I am to spend a couple weeks in Georgia, before flyting out (from Tbsili) on July 13.

My question is what route should I take inside Turkey (entering from the Iranian border and ending at the Georgian border) considering I am looking for the highest, or nicest mountains in Northeastern Turkey, including Trabazon city (and other nice towns). I am interested in only Turkish speaking areas of Turkey, so to improve my Turkish. I hope to visit Kurdish Turkey (Kordestan) another time.

Thanks
