camping in Berlin
I was most upset to find that the city campsite in the middle of Berlin will not be opening this year.
I am wanting to spend a couple of nights in Berlin, but really don't want to 'party' like most of the visitors to Berlin want to 'party'. I am 40 years old, don't you know, and should be in bed, fast asleep, by 10pm!  None... well very little, of that!Can anyone reccomend a good hostel for old crusty types tike me, or even better a campsite close to the city centre. I would prefer to be near the centre and walk about if possible, but if I have to stay further out, I would prefer to do this and hope for a better nights sleep. cheers Dave

it appears no one knows!!!!
 perhaps I should now look at hostels. Does anyone know of a good hostel with parking that isn't geared up to all night partying. catch me ain the right mood and I can.....  but really I want to be asleep by 11pm!!!! cheers Dave

We camped at Gatow near the aircraft museum. Very good site but a 15 minute bus ride from the city centre.
