Brasil to Guyana...anyone been there ?

There's a gap on my map where I'd hoped for a road, specifically from the Guyana/Brasil border on the coast.

Anyone done it ?

hola bob,

I went in 02/2004 from Macapa to French Guyana, than on to Suriname and to Guyana.

From the Georgetown I traveled to Boa Vista in Brazil.

The road is fine in the dry season, it is paved until Linden.

There are even Minibuses going, so no problem on a bike. People told me horror stories about this road, but this has been the past - now one of the truck drivers called it an *Autobahn*.

I had trouble with the Brazilean customs.

enjoy

Hi Happy,
I'll be leaving Ottawa, Canada on August 1 for Panama, by air to Bogota, then Cucuta, Carracas, Boa Vista, and Guyana, Suriname, Guiana, Macapa, Belem. Then across Brazil to Peru, and home. All on a BMW F650. When are you planning to go?
