Aah! Bellagio! What a spot! Very romantic, was there with my girlfriend (now my wife) in 2009.
![]() Be aware that the last bit of the road to Bellagio takes forever (especially if its dark and raining!). With 5 days to get there from Zeebrugge you've got a little time to play with. Get ye to the alps and ride some of the alpine passes. They are fantastic. I'd head along to the eastern end as far as you can get (as far as Bled in Slovenia if you have time) then work back. I can't remember specific road names I'm afraid but if you find the squiggly lines on the map, you can't go wrong! The road that passes over the mountains from Cortina to Canazei and the Stelvio National Park are amazing. For me a good part of the fun is simply looking at the map and deciding which one of the alpine roads I'm going to take from A to B. You can then head further west from Como and pop up into France through the Mont Blanc tunnel (expensive but amazing if you like engineering). Don't believe the timings on google earth/gps software for alpine roads. They are way off! (Sometimes by a factor of 4!) Have fun! Matt
