armchair planners unite!

OK, sorry for the snark. I'm here in Ushuaia, heading north, having come down the west coast from texas. the (vague, that's where help comes in) plan was: head north along the coast until it gets warm (say, BsAs), then keep going until Belem, then Manaus, then Caracas. I've got about six more weeks before I have to be in Miami (I figured flying out of Caracas). other than straight up (porto velho to manaus) or the atlantic coast, any suggestions? I do like the jungle, but I've been in/around there a few times (not on moto tho), and have never seen the north east coast of brazil. There's also the 'throw the bike in a canoe' path through suriname, and on to venezuela, but that may exceed my time limits.
