All The Way Up
I will be in Capetown Feb next year and want to buy an old, cheap, fitted out, LH drive (if poss) Land Cruiser in which to live/camp from, on journey north through Botswana, Zambia, Congo, Angola and then Atlantic Coast to The Gambia where I will sell the vehicle and proceed home (UK) by air. I need any info. like:
1. A dealer in South Africa. 2. Feasability/difficutlies enroute for Feb. Mar. April. May. 3. Insurance/Carnet requirements. 4.Visas (for a UK citizen) and any other. I have done the other way (UK to Timbuctou etc.) a couple of times recently if anybody wants to swap info. Regards All. Alan Markland.
