Smile A neverending story on Falkor our GS800

Dear HU community,

We hope you are doing great? We are Nathalia and Vincent, a 34 years old Swiss couple traveling 2up on Falkor our BMW GS800. We are on the road since 16 months and travel slowly doing service exchanges with people we meet on the road.

Today we celebrate 500 days of nomadism and we are back in Switzerland, but not for long. Our plan is now to update our materials and end of January to ride our bike to ASIA without time limit. Our first goal will be to reach India where we lived in 2014 and another goal would be to reach Indonesia.

For the past 16 months, we've been creating videos and pictures that we share here :

INSTA : www.instagram.com/takemeeverywhere
YOUTUBE : www.youtube.com/vincentweil (video in french with subtitles in english, spannish, italien, etc.)
POLARSTEPS : www.polarsteps.com/takemeeverywhere

Our bike is called Falkor in reference of the lucky dragon from the Neverending Story movie from 1984. Has you can see in this short video, we like to fly with our bike.

Regarding this first 16 months of travel, here are some stats :

- 9 COUNTRIES (Switzerland, France, Andorra, Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, Morocco, Italy, San Marino)
- 23’000 KM
- TEMPERATURE MIN. -3°C
- TEMPERATURE MAX. +52,5°C
- MAX. KM PER DAY : 427,7KM
- MAX. RIDING TIME : 6H08

We would be happy to exchange with you here or on our social media ✌️Wish you all the very best ✨

Vincent, Nathalia & Falkor

Welcome to Horizons Unlimited Nathalia and Vincent!
You can also post your story here on HU, and of course ask for help if you need it. Spend a little time checking out the me4nus above - there's a lot more here on HU than just the HUBB.
We look forward to hearing more about your travels!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
