Around Australia

Hi everyone,

I'm new on the hubb.. Well I've been on here for 6 months or so reading and learning heaps but I've only just signed up.

I thought I would share a ride report I put together of my recent 9 week trip around Australia making it to the 4 furthermost points.

I have posted this also on advrider as that is another forum I check out so I'm not sure if people mind reports being posted on both. Do people just prefer your report on one of the forums or is on both ok? I'm not sure if it's the same crowd on both forums. Anyway I will just post it and I'm sure you guys will let me know. Cheers..

I put together a movie of some photos and footage from my trip. I know its not the usual method of a ride report but I hope you like it.

The quality of the youtube version is not the greatest because of file size.. I have it in 1920x1080. Happy to take any suggestions on how I can share the better quality version.

Anyway, enough talk... here's the movie..

Hi, welcome to HU - finally!

Re posting on other boards - no problem, although of course we prefer it here first!

Re the video - you CAN do HD on youtube, but it's not so obvious I think. Or check out vimeo, they do a generally higher quality video.

Tip on your video - make a much shorter version and do that in HD. You could probably cut it in half or less. Don't forget to do the occasional voiceover to explain what's going on some times - you know, we don't.

Keep it up, you have some great stuff in there!
