Yamaha xt350 motorproblems?
I have started a total renovation of a Yamaha xt350 from '92 and have so far found small pieces of metal in the oilfilter - a little too big for my likening.

I'm going to open the motor and have a look, and I was wondering if there are any specific areas to give my attention? Does the xt350 have problems similar to the 5th-gear problem of the Ténéré? Or other things? (the top of the cylinder looks good, no cracks or the likes).

Does anyone know about this?
