I need 21" tube and oil? where?

I need a 21" tube, because I used the one I had, could I get one in Ulan-Bator?
is there any good bike shop in Barnaul? I will need to change my F800GS oil there.

Thanks in advance.

you can get excellent motorcycle oil in most of the big cities along the trans-siberian .... Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk. Local bikers will direct you to oil suppliers / tube sellers in those towns. Personally I would recommend Krasnoyarsk as a nice place to stop over. Can give you the GPS co-ords of an excellent bike mechanic there who only uses Motul oils, but can get you the other stuff too.

If you need stuff before Krasnoyarsk, then Irkutsk also has all that stuff in a big auto parts market. Again, no problem to get Motul oils there.

Krasnoyarsk

If you have my waypoints, an excellent bike mechanic in Krasnoyarsk is the one titled "Krasnoyarsk Zhenya's Garage"

There is also a good bike supermarket that will have tubes, oil etc on my waypoints, titled "Krasnoyarsk Bike Parts"

If you need stuff in Irkutsk, the waypoint Irkutsk Auto Parts Market" is a huge place with hundreds of small shops. One of the outdoor shops is a bike specific shop and will have tubes. There are several sellers there that have Motul motorcycle specific oils.

I know a very good moto mechanic in Barnaul with his own 'any bike' business/workshop. He is a leading biker in that city.

I am unsure of the exact connection but this website is connected to him. He is Victor (Виктор)- the fourth name/number on this page.

PM me for his personal Email address. He speaks only a little English but his wife, also a keen rider, speaks it very well.

No problem with russian language, Veronika speaks russian and we have russian telephone too, we´ll try that place, thanks.

Colebatch, we´re in Selenginsk (near Ulan-Ude), and we´ll go to Ulan-Bator from here, then Barnaul-Kazaghstan, so no way to go to Krasnoyarks (we made BMW service there last time) or Irkutsk, we don´t have many time after our 4 weeks in Yakutsk.

and what about front 21" tube? we ride more relax with spare one, we tried in Ulan-Ude, and nobody knows.

Victor in barnaul also sells motul products. We bought some foam filter oil from him but left the engine oil as good API SL spec car oil is fine for is and readily available much more economically than the motul bike stuff. Ed picked up a 21" tube there, it's Chinese "Kings Tyre" but looks/smells ok!

Victor's place is an aladdin's cave...
