We've had a code update on the HUBB that should fix any issues with the new right hand column. If the HUBB still "looks funny" please force a refresh to get the latest code update. (Hold down the shift OR ctrl key, and click the refresh button on your browser, OR Ctrl R, OR on Macs, Command R). If you still have a problem please post it here.

Garmin GPS Antenna for laptop?
Dear Guys;
As I already buy the small laptop(Notebook),IBM X40 for RTW,I'd like to make use of this and find the following GPS on the internet ; Garmin GPS 18 USB Deluxe ($130): Simply plug this WAAS-enabled GPS receiver into an available USB port and transform your laptop into a state-of-the-art GPS unit! With -Garmin MapSource WorldMap CD-ROM $100.00 It seems very interesting to me. My idea is that install the laptop on the bike tank(F650GS) with GPS and turn-on only in emergency while I stop. Any oppinions? Please,let me know..^^ |

The GPS 18 has no display and can only be used with some laptop software (such as MapSource WorldMap).
You may wish to buy a cheap Garmin mapping GPS that can also be used on its own if the laptop fails. The Garmin eTrek Legend is one such unit. You can also connect the eTrek Legend to your laptop for the bigger screen display. [This message has been edited by BurnieM (edited 16 April 2005).]
