galaxy note 10.1 gps

Hi I would like to know if any one have idea if thr note 10.1 can work offline as full gps navigation? Or as usual I need connection wifior 3g. Same issue for iPhone 4s . I hope I should not invest for gps with all my notes and smart phones not abel connect to gps. I want to use it for my trip

Quite simply, it depends on the app you install, some like Google Maps & Navigation need a connection, others store the maps in your device's memory. There's always new appearing so best is to google and find out which is best for you.

There are quite a few suggestions about "apps" for mobile phones in this thread:-

And I think the various inputs show which software works OK when offline.

The Note 10.1 has a GPS receiver built-in.
Comes with Google or try NavFree.
