CDROM Emulation

Just a bit of advice if you're on the road with a laptop and have plenty of HD space! I travel with Mapsource and TTQV and hate carrying the CDROMs. Not a problem with TTQV as you can copy the maps but Mapsource insists on the CDROMs.

I found a great piece of software which lets you emulate CDROMs and it works well with Mapsource. Checkout the Paragon CD-ROM Emulator, and leave the CDROMs at home!

You can download the trial first. I also uses Maptech Terrain Navigator which also insists on CDROMs. This should work but I've not tryed it yet.

Cheers,
Nick.
