Quality petrol in Iran - 98 Octane and ridiculously cheap. I seem to recall unleaded is commonly available.

Unleaded not commonly avaialbe in Iran!

You have to ask "super" on fuel stations. Some bigger fuel stations have super, especially near to cities my experiences showed.

But your bike will runn fine on leaded too, i'm sure. Even my BMW did, altough BMW specifyes high octane leaded only. So don't worry!

Enjoy, Margus

My 650 GS Dakar ran on 72 Octane in Uzbekistan. Just go easy on the throttle and you should be all right. You will break the catalyzer by fueling leaded, but that's not the end of the world!
I think we found unleaded in Iran but I'm not positive.
