Touring tank?

I'm having a real hard time finding a larger than stock tank for my 1996 620 RXC. I know they were made when the bike came out, but I can't seem to find one now? Does anybody know where I might find one? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

www.schneidercycles.de sell a 20 litre one, which their site says fits all 400/620 after 93. I reckon the 28/30 litre Adventure style tank would also fit. In both cases check with a knowledgeable dealer before buying. I don't know what a RXC is but looking at the picture of one at www.ktm-lc4.net (where you could also ask the question) it looks like it's got a similar frame to a later LC4.

Hi KTMPaul!

If you're not hurried, maybe I can give you my old '01 AdventureR fuel tank.

I just had a crash, and the tank is a little rough now. The stikers are damaged also and the primaty fuel tap is missing... But I think that if you're looking for such tank is for a journey, so maybe the way it looks is not so important.

I'm just waiting for:
- insurance inspection of the bike
- spare parts from Austria for fix up the bike

and if you provide me your address I can give the tank to you for free...

Maybe it requires some little fix up, but maybe it's usefull.

Let me know at maimailto:Pitpat@tin.it

Bye
