This was my quick and easy answer to mounting luggage to my adventure. These are pelican cases bolted together
and mounted to the stock rack. It was quick, easy and relatively cheap... didn't require any modes to the stock rack.
Looks good and a great money saver but remember 3 things....
1) The stock rack is only rated up to 10Kgs (officially) and
2) Get that centre of gravity as low as is possible - it makes the bike much much more stable.
3) Without the normal frame kit for alliminum panniers - there may be much more 'flex' in the frame chassis... i.e. a more wobbly ride round corners...
