Exclamation 950 adventure master cylinder

I have had problems with my rear brake ever since buying my '04 plated adventure, (it is still much better than the GS's tho ). KTM have finally produced a replacement master cylinder and I no longer have any brake problems. Just in case this is of interest to any other KTM riders.

It's an afficial upgrade for those (few) that have problems with the brake. I for one never had a problem with the original master cylinder, also an '04. I can have the mod done if i want but really dont want to fix something that aint broke.

Brake master?

SteveD

When you say it's an official upgrade do you mean that KTM will replace duff ones for free? Mine gave out in the middle of Gdansk last week, just suddenly had no rear brake! I managed to bleed and refill the master but was mystified as to the cause of the sudden pressure loss as I could find no evidence of any leak or broken seals ect.
