KLE offroad tyre advice

Got a second set of wheels for my kle which i plan on fitting knobbly tyres to for greenlaning and would like some recomendations.
The battlewings on my main wheels are good when the grounds dry but when its wet or on extremely loose stuff they don't offer the grip i want.

requirements
good mileage (my preferred lanes are 50miles away on fast roads)
acceptable on-road handling wet + dry
good grip on gravel (hardpacked, 30mm size and 100mm rocks)
mud
grass

size 90/90 21
130/80 17

Hi

You won't go far wrong with a set of MT21.

I know different people like different tyre's.

I have tried all of the above and fou nd that the MT21 are the best all rounder.

They are very good off road and have lasted on tarmac far longer then other make's

Hope this help's

Hi
I've currently got a T63 on the rear. Great tyre for off road and significant advantage over the standard dual purpose tyres. Not that great on tar, though - slight weave at high speed >150 km/h (though I suppose a knobly tyre was not made for 150-160 km/h two up :-P ) The tyre won't make 5000km (Ive done 80% tar 20% off road).

Other tyres Ive used on the two KLE's Ive owned include the Conti TC80's (great tyres but pricey in SA); the stock Dunlop (these are shite) & Michelin Sirac. The TC80 is an excellent tyre, but for me, value for money is the Sirac.

Regards,
Henk
