KLE 500: Where are the "cats" in the exhaust headers located?
I wonder if anyone can help me.
I have a aftermarket end can on the bike but i believe there are still two "cats" located in each exhaust header pipe. If this is true then by somehow removing them will it increase performance a bit more? Exactly where are they located? Has anyone tried to remove it? Any info or pointers will be appreciated. Thanx.

I've often wondered the same thing myself. The exhaust looks too slim for a catalytic convertor like a car would use?

I've trawled the internet looking for the answer to this question to no avail. If I can find someone that makes a complete silencer/ header pipe set up for the KLE then I'll cut my stock pipes up to find all three cats and post pics for all to see. (wish me luck)
