Smile KLE 400 on the road again

Hi guys! I'm back on streets! I finished repairing my beloved KLE after the accident .... and now is back in business!

For those who know what I'm talking about - is with the same enduro look but for the road safety I had to put turn signals .... but is stilll aggresive.

Ride safe!

Kle 400

Hello Kumuya.

Nice to hear you are up and riding again. I also bought a KLE 400. Second hand import from your side. Do you guys have a special law for the 400 cc bikes, or why is the KLE not sold as a 500 over there?

Hi,

There is no special law officialy KLE is sold as in Europe (KLE 500) but are some smart-asses who take form KLE's from Japan (certanly from some junk-yard etc.) and they take it as cheap as they can, bring it in Romania, Rusia and this region and sell it as second hand bikes. And they are cheaper than KLE 500 second hand brought from Germany for example .... and they are in a good shape. The only problem is when it comes to parts .... you found out that you are on your own because all dealers are saying that they do not import from Japan. And so you have to manage to get a KLE 500 manual, see what works from it's big brother and what doesn't. But more than 90% of replacement parts are fine except what keeps to engine .

No special laws just some guys who take Japan junk!!!! But this Japan junk is good stuff and no problems with it .... all parts are written in japanese or with the inscrption "For Japan only" so I 'm sure that quality is 100% guaratee
