'08 KLR650 Rear shock? - Help!
Hi All and thanks for looking at my post
I have a '08 KLR650 with 38,000kms. Almost all of it loaded with me (90kgs) and my luggage (40kgs). When going through a slight bump there is a hissing sound from the back.....I suspect it's my rear shock. I'm in Morocco now, heading towards South Africa. Should I be concerned about this sound or just keep on riding? I do have to head back to Rabat for visas and tyres before going to Mauri. Your suggestions and advise will be much appreciated Regards Neville |

Do it now
Hey mate,
Morroco to ZA on a blown shock......?! I'd get it sorted now whilst you have the chance before heading even further south. Sounds like the damper has failed. Is it a rebuildable unit? Maybe purchase a new one and DHL it to yourself.
