After 6.30pm, you can park on any yellow line, pay and display or meter for free. If you're keen for a bike parking bay, go to www.motorcycleparking.com which details all of the parking bays in London.

See you tomorrow...

Charles

From 7:30 tomorrow!!!!

As more and more people are planning to come I checked with the Cafe! They are fairly busy until 7:30 and very quite after that, so change of plans.
We meet there from 7:30 onwards. Should be easy to park at that time of the day!
see you there!

Hey guys! It was nice to meet all of you last night! Let's do it again some time. Maybe somewhere where we can all go on bikes so that we can admire each other bikes!

Georges: I love your g/f bike (I can't remember her name, sorry!). I'm curious to see you on your 1200 though!!

See you round guys !

Nice to meet you Maria and the others who turned up. Don't think I managed to say hello to everyone there unfortunately, maybe another time perhaps.
George's g/f is called Zeidi, spelling may be wrong but pronounced like Heidi with a zed.

Cheers, Richard.

great to see you all,
Maria thank you for organising it..

must do it again soon,

---

Maria, yes I think I am around 6.5' and I ride "Hexe" by beloved GS1200,
I do touch the floor and I haven't droped it on the traffic lights yet.

Will email you a photo with me & Hexe just so you can see its a match made in "bavaria" and will let you have a "go" on Hexe in the next meeting.

The GS may look deceptively high & heavy but its isn't. Mine came with low seat and its just fine.

g

PS.

its Zydie (pronounced as Heidi with a Z)
also responds to "Thingy"

She was also very pleased to give me a lift to the venue and meet you all guys..

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
