Registrations for the HU Meeting have been flowing in from around the world. One serious motorcycle traveler from Australia advised us he was traveling from Dili on a "Postie Bike," a Honda CT110. A media representative from a global motorcycle publication asked that a chair be reserved for he and his photographer, and was told all seating, both nights, is on a "first come, first serve" basis. Possibly bring your own chair because last year over 100 attended and seating/standing overflowed into the parking area in front of the Rider's Corner both evenings.
Caught the below NEWS RELEASE in Thailand media and out on the Net. It seems a wildly diverse group ranging from serious travelers to key people in The Golden Triangle are vectoring in to The Rider's Corner January 10-11. Spotted doing reconnaissance at The Rider's Corner was well-known Bangkok based author Christopher G. Moore. His Vincent Calvino series is now in pre-production phase for a major film.
