Meeting Dates
Maybe it's just me but I wish the BC and Creel dates were earlier so I could hit them both on the way south. It seems to me that to be in Cananda in September and then Creel in Oct, and then make TDF by the end of the year is a high speed race.

We've thought of that - but the Creel date is pretty carefully selected to avoid the HOT summer and RAINY seasons. August through September in Creel is not good bike weather.
 Canada meeting date is picked to avoid the summer crowds on the highways in Canada. Don't forget there is now the option of doing the Colorado Meeting then heading for TDF - should be plenty of time, especially if you go straight down through Chile - and then back up, slowly meandering your way along. There is no perfect date...
