Slide shows and workshops wanted...

Good Morning guys...

Like every year we need some slide shows and some workshops for this years meeting too.

Don´t be shy - if you made any kind of interesting motorcycle trip and you got some pictures you are the right person to give a presentation. It doesn´t have to be professional - the less prepared shows are very often the best!!!

You don´t need any equipment, just bring your pictures on a stick. We got computer, Beamer, Speakers and screen. So it is easy!(it should take around 45 min.)

Please register as a Presenter - thank you!

The same with the workshops: If you are a doctor and want to give a first aid course or which medicine should I carry - or something like this - would be perfect!

Or you are a KTM freak and want to give a speech about KTMs - that´s all right too.

Everything is possible:

Outdoor-Cooking, Healthy on the road, ("Sex on the road"??? Maybe...)
What to take for hiking? Which riding gear? , which bike? How to ship???
Foto Workshop? etc...

Please register as a presenter too - thank you!

See you soon - Jens

New slide shows, have a look...

Hi guys,

We could need some more presentations and workshops - please help.

Don´t be scared - You don´t need a professional show... The less prepared are most of the time the funniest!

Look what I got, hopefully:

- A couple on MZ bikes - riding from Germany to Nepal and back!

- Morocco with a BMW Sidecar...

- Brasil by bike

and some more...

See you in June!

Jens

Have fun Andy. Sadly me and Mark will not be there as we will be making our way across the Pacific towards Vladivostock around that time.

And Jens... we will take a few pics on this RTW trip so (hopefully) we will be able to show some our adventures either in next year's meet or possibly at the October meet if we are back in time.

HU Meeting Germany 2011-Welcome

Jens
I took some days off from work,go to the BMWMOA French connection rally in France the first week-end of June, and from there I come to the German rally.I was there last year with the big blue Harley. Maybe I come on the BMW this year,or on the Harley again, before I ship it to Australia in Juli, for a 8 month trip Down-Under,but I will tell you more on the rally. Just count me in.
See you there.
Chris.

Just so you know, we will be there this year!

Does anyone have any particular topic you would like us to talk about?

I will be there, part of my 3 month wanderings of Europe, starting 1 June at the Normandy beaches. I will attend any talk on any topic...it's all new to me. As long as there's a brew nearby!
Anyone else taking an easy ride through from France via Luxumbourg?, or some similar meandering?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
